Installing the Brogue Motorcycles Helmet Hook

Installing the Brogue Motorcycles Helmet Hook

I don’t know about you, but when I arrive at my destination I just want to do what I want to do. I don’t want to deal with carrying around a helmet and finding a safe place to stash it out of the way. Unfortunately, a lot of bikes don’t come with any provisions to lock your helmet up. My 2020 Triumph Speed Twin is one of many that ignore this helpful feature. That’s where the Brogue Motorcycles helmet hook comes in.

For the reasonable sum of $25 and about five minutes of your time you can add this feature to your 2016 and up Triumph Speed Twin, Thruxton R/RS, Bonneville T100 & T120, Street Twin, and Street Cup. Opt for the left side hook or the right side, or both if you need one for your pillion. Brogue throws in the fasteners and you supply the 5mm hex key wrench and a bit of thread lock if you so choose. Now your helmet can be safely stored on your bike and you no longer have to carry around that hunk of plastic the size of a bowling ball. Furthermore, it is completely hidden from view when not in use, unlike those chunky aftermarket locks that also require a separate key. Check it out.
